Laszlo of Naturalperl fine art photography, as Volunteer Emeritus at Brazos Bend State Park, led his free photography hike for “Close-ups” on March 7, 2020, from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. We met at the Nature Center, then drove to 40 Acre Lake, where after Laszlo’s introductory talk about the art of seeing, sixteen of us slowly walked to the prairie where ground-hugging wild strawberry and wild rose bushes were blooming. We enjoyed the soft light on the hiding flowers and the play of light later on the prairie where the backlit glowing colored leaves showed impressive patches between the green grass.
