We just finished my Through the Lens photo hike for birds at Brazos Bend State Park, TX on November 3, 2018. Six of us walked slowly at the West side of Elm Lake then on the Spillway Trail to the bridge, almost to 40-Acre Lake and back. The weekend weather was superior, after the weekdays heavy rain, we got some sunshine and nice clouds. We photographed only few birds, but we observed and photographed American alligators, Red eared sliders and nice landscapes. We chat a lot, discussed our images on location and had a good time together. When we arrived back to the parking area almost in dark, we were tired a little bit, but enjoyed the photo hike.
Enjoy few of my images taken there:
Notes and comments from email and FaceBook:
- Wow! Amazing work as usual! Really looking forward to shooting with you guys again soon, I miss it more and more. Will try for a day trip during the week soon. I always learn so much from you every time we shoot together. I’ll shoot from your shadow any time! (Ron Fontenot)
- Missing the walks in Brazos Bend Park,…. Can’t wait to be there in 2019. (Nathalie Brouard)
