“Leaf Kaleidoscope” is part of my visual remembrance, recalling my first experience through the old, brass-bodied Kaleidoscope which showed me a magical world. During our summer photography in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I was wondering why several large trees lost their leaves in mid-July. I picked up a fallen leaf and looked at it,– turning it to the sky and sun. I felt I found a colorful, sad, and happy-faced leaf kaleidoscope.
