Laszlo is so fortunate to be able to participate with the New England Large Format Photography Collective’s  “Collective Vision: Photographs from the New England Large Format Photography Collective” group exhibition at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum in New London, CT. Three of Laszlo’s black and white large format film-based photographs were selected for the show.

  • It is such a great honor to have 3 of my fine art black and white images being shown at the Lyman Allyn Museum in New London, CT. The works of 12 others of my fellow Large Format Photographers in our NELFPC family are not to be missed!   • Your images are easily identifiable.  Beautiful work, Laszlo! I am familiar with the museum.  My uncle had a retrospective show there years ago of his oils and water colors.  He had a WPA Fine Art project grant in the ’30s and did lithographs of the steel riggers on the Golden Gate Bridge when it was being erected.  His name was Arthur George Murphy. Dr. Laszlo Perlaky is a photographic artist and educator, having 50 years of experience in various fields of nature photography using large format film and digital. He is a retired research scientist, past faculty member of Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Cancer Center. He is a member of several national and international photographic organizations, past artistic director of Fill Your Cup Coffee Shop Gallery, past editor of Silver Image, past Print Competition Vice President of Houston Photographic Society. As a volunteer, he led his Photo walks at Brazos Bend State Park for 30 years. He is an active photographic instructor at Houston Photographic Study Group and Houston Center for Photography., elected board member of Lost Pines Art League and Bastrop County Audubon Society. He has successfully participated and been awarded in national and international photography contests, solo and group exhibitions. His images were published in magazines, books, calendars, and presented at major art festivals and auctions.
