Greenbrier is a valley of the northern Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, along the Middle Fork of the Little Pigeon River, surrounded by the highest ridges in the Appalachian range. During my multiple photography hikes, exploring the beauty of the peaceful sacred land of the Cherokees and later many Appalachian settlers, I photographed the atmosphere of the early mornings or the late afternoon lights, reflecting nature’s beauty on rocks or vegetation with the perception of recognizing “The Beauty of Greenbrier”.
