Houston Photographic Society’s exhibition during Fotofest 2020

2019 monthly print competition winning images of the Houston Photographic Society (HPS) members were installed on March 5 and exhibited in the 1st-floor gallery area of the Houston Public Library (500 McKinney St, Houston TX 77002). The exhibition will be on view during Fotofest 2020. A reception and artist talks planned for Sunday, March 22, from 2-4 PM.

This is a very nice presentation of the works of HPS members, we all can be proud to the exhibition. Congratulations and thank you to all of you. Thanks to Bob Davis who made the deal with the Library and the exhibition possible. Special thanks to Dwight Theel, who spent countless hours organizing, collecting, delivering, designing, installing the exhibition.

Dr. Laszlo Perlaky is a photographic artist and educator, having 50 years of experience in various fields of nature photography using large format film and digital. He is a retired research scientist, past faculty member of Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Cancer Center. He is a member of several national and international photographic organizations, past artistic director of Fill Your Cup Coffee Shop Gallery, past editor of Silver Image, past Print Competition Vice President of Houston Photographic Society.
