For the first time, the Art League of Baytown will be a Participating Space in the FotoFest 2016 Biennial. This international photography festival has contributed to the Houston cultural scene for over three decades. Baytown joins Galveston and Fayetteville as regional venues hosting FotoFest shows. Our exhibition, “Elemental Observations: Earth, Air, Fire, Water,” is managed by Caslin Gregory & Associates (Houston) and will be on view from March 12 through April 24, 2016. Additionally, the Art League is initiating scholarships to be awarded to high school students studying photography or photojournalism. These competitive awards will be presented during the FotoFest reception at The Art Center on March 19, 2016 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
