There are two categories of acceptance, Gold Selections and Silver Selections. GOLD SELECTIONS: These 100 images will be hung in the NVAL Carter House Gallery and also be displayed on the NVAL website in an Online Exhibit. These works are eligible for award. SILVER SELECTIONS: These 100 additional images will be included in the Carter House Gallery exhibit as a Digital Slide Show and on the NVAL website in an Online Exhibit. These images are not eligible for award.· No printing, framing or further submittal of your accepted work is required. The image you entered will be used for the Digital Slide Show and Online Exhibit on the NVAL website — www.nval.org.

· The standard information adjacent to your work in the Digital Slide show and Online Exhibit will include the title of your work, your name, your city, state, or country if outside the US. Very happy that your work will once again be exhibited in the NVAL Carter House Gallery. RECEPTION and AWARDS: We welcome you and any guests you would like to invite to attend the show reception. North Valley Art League’s Carter House Gallery — Saturday, May 7 from 6 to 8pm · Awards will be announced at the reception and our juror, Jack Fulton, will give a short talk explaining why he chose each of the award winners. · Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served making for a great evening. · Directions to the gallery are on our website www.nval.org, under Contact.

ONLINE GALLERY: The online gallery will be published on the NVAL website www.nval.org starting May 3, and will remain online for several years. Awards will be announced on the website May 8. Images will be at web-standard low resolution.

Artists whose work is chosen for the exhibition retain copyright of all images, but grant the North Valley Art League the right to use their images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition, marketing the North Valley Art League’s programs and subsequent display on the NVAL website www.nval.org. Images used on the website will appear at web-standard low resolution. Artists grant the use of their images as stated without further contact or compensation from NVAL. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use.

Dr. Laszlo Perlaky is a photographic artist and educator, having 50 years of experience in various fields of nature photography using large format film and digital. He is a retired research scientist, past faculty member of Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Cancer Center. He is a member of several national and international photographic organizations, past artistic director of Fill Your Cup Coffee Shop Gallery, past editor of Silver Image, past Print Competition Vice President of Houston Photographic Society. As a volunteer, he led his Photo walks at Brazos Bend State Park for 30 years. He is an active photographic instructor at Houston Photographic Study Group and Houston Center for Photography., elected board member of Lost Pines Art League and Bastrop County Audubon Society. He has successfully participated and been awarded in national and international photography contests, solo and group exhibitions. His images were published in magazines, books, calendars, and presented at major art festivals and auctions.
