Laszlo’s “Through the Lens” photo hike for close up / macro at Brazos Bend State Park was great, yesterday afternoon. Seven participants showed up, even the weather was really hot. We drove to 40-Acre Lake parking, then we hiked together to the Hoot Hollow trail area. I found few good shady spots there, where the setting Sun’s light beams made good lightings. Everybody got excited when I showed my setups. I am sure all of them enjoyed the outing and took few good shots. More info: (link)
Enjoy a few of my images taken there.

- Nice addition. John (John Lowen)
- Keep up the good work. Every time I see one of your images I think about all the old things you use to create these special images and have to laugh at the people who run buy a new something all the time at the camera store. Alan (Alan Montgomery)
- Very Nice Laszlo! Thank you again for your leadership on these hikes. You help make Brazos Bend a better place! David (David Heinicke, Park Naturalist / State Park Police, Brazos Bend State Park)
