Lexi’s and Laszlo’s exhibition “Two in the bush” at Williams Tower Gallery

Ms. Sally Sprout (Sally Sprout Fine Art), the curator of Williams Tower (link) Gallery, visited our home-based Naturalperl Fine Art Photography Studio and selected 14 color images from my wife’s (Lexi) “Drops” and “Reflections” portfolios and 14 large formats (4×5) black and white film-based images from my “Hair of the Cherokee Woman” portfolio for our “Two in the bush” invitational exhibition. Our exhibition co-exhibited with the Williams Tower Tenants’s “Camera Roll #4! juried exhibition at the Williams Tower Gallery (2800 Post Oak Boulevard, Houston TX 70567) from July 22, 2015 to August 28, 2015. The Opening Reception was on July 22, 6-8:30 PM. Gallery hours: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 6 PM.

Ms. Sprout is an active member of the Houston art community, currently directing the exhibition program at the Williams Tower Gallery and acting as principal of Sally Sprout Fine Art consulting services. She has served as Curator of Exhibitions and Curator of the Collection for Transco Energy Company and also curated the sculpture program for The Woodlands Operating Company. Ms. Sprout has served on numerous art boards, including DiverseWorks Art Space Inc and Houston Center for Photography and is a frequent juror for city art organizations.

Dr. Laszlo Perlaky is a photographic artist and educator, having 50 years of experience in various fields of nature photography using large format film and digital. He is a retired research scientist, past faculty member of Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Cancer Center. He is a member of several national and international photographic organizations, past artistic director of Fill Your Cup Coffee Shop Gallery, past editor of Silver Image, past Print Competition Vice President of Houston Photographic Society. As a volunteer, he led his Photo walks at Brazos Bend State Park for 30 years. He is an active photographic instructor at Houston Photographic Study Group and Houston Center for Photography., elected board member of Lost Pines Art League and Bastrop County Audubon Society.
