Little Hike with Bastrop County Audubon Society’s Birders

We had beautiful weather and a great Little Hike at Pecan Park, on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 8:30 – 10:30 AM. Lexi and I and the Audubon birders, walked quietly on Dorothy Skarnulis trail, next to the Colorado River, and enjoyed the beauty of nature. Watched and identified many songbirds. I liked the brownish, spotted feathered immature Yellow-Crowned night heron, but probably the highlight was watching the flying attraction of two American Kestrels. Enjoy a few of my photos taken on the hike.
