During winter, large amount of snow geese and Ross geese roost on the lakes at Bosque del Apache NWR, NM. The birtds drink and bath at dawn, then they blast off at sunrise. On this very cold morning, the nearby hotsprings fed the lake and the fog was painted pink by the rising sun. The geese were sleepy in the cold and the blast off was delayed.
