The “Quiet Ride in the Fog” series shows parts of my dreams and childhood remembrance of fairy tales, revealing messages from the unknown as well as the future. A poem, “The Frog Creeps” by Walterrean Salley (Savannah, GA), represents my feelings:
I always seek to explore the situations in our natural environment in which light causes some unique effects. The photographs were taken during our early morning quiet bicycle rides at Cades Cove, during our Summer nature photography trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee. Luckily we had heavy fog before and at sunrise on all of our rides, so I was able to observe and photograph multiple times the partially visible mysteries and secrets of Cades Cove.
